Each glass is excellently crafted starting from the base there is an etched flower design, with the stem of the glass coming from the centre. The stem isnt like your usual round ones, this has six sides getting thicker the higher you go. At the top of the stem the design gets smaller again before opening up to form the base of the glass. The lower half of the glass has been etched to create a number of diamond shapes all linked together, this also gives a nice raised texture to the glass when being held. The top half of the glass has been coloured in a ruby red and has a very simple yet effective oval design. This design is also carried on around the rim of the glass, however has been slightly changed to have the ovals on their side in a linking effect.Waterford has extremely high standards and every piece of their work is checked on average four times to ensure it is in perfect condition.
